Who is responsible

your English tutor runs this platform for private English lessons and is responsible for your information. Ask your tutor for contact details.

What is stored

• Your first name and level, lesson notes and the skills you are practising.
• Your answers on worksheets, your vocabulary practice, and your self-assessment.
• Audio recordings you choose to make, and photos or scans you choose to upload.
• For under-18s, a parent or guardian’s email, only if given.

Why

To teach you, show your progress, and prepare the next lesson. Audio recordings and uploads are kept only with consent from you (or a parent or guardian if you are under 18).

Who else handles data

The platform uses Supabase (database and file storage), Netlify (hosting) and Cloudflare (web address). To prepare worksheets and feedback, text from lessons and worksheets may be sent to Anthropic’s AI service; recordings and photos are not sent to it. Your tutor reviews AI-written material before you see it.

How long

Recordings and uploaded photos are deleted after 365 days. Other learning records are kept while you are a student and deleted when you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information at any time. Under UK law you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

Your tutor’s login uses essential cookies only. Student links use no tracking or advertising, and only remember your text size on your own device.
